WOMEN DEPARTMENT

United Baptist Churches Association, Women Ministry was formed on 9th July 2010 as a result of a meeting held that day. Ms. Kughani Zhimo was appointed as Women Co-ordinator at United Baptist Fellowship (UBF), Neisatou Colony Dimapur, in the presence of Rev L. Hevuto Awomi, Executive Secretary, UBCA.

The First Women Conference was held in September 2010 at Life Spring Corner with the theme “The Responsibility of Women in this Changing World”.

Activities & Vision (Highlights)

The UBCA Women Department activities and vision highlighted in brief:

  • Conduct women leadership seminars.
  • Local church women’s seminars and mothers' camps.
  • Ministry to the jail and outreach ministry outside Nagaland.
  • Visiting orphanages and women pastors' pulpit exchange.
  • Conduct fasting and prayer to promote women's fellowships.
  • Training programs for women in practical and spiritual ways.

Aims & Objectives

The aims and objectives of UBCA Women Department Ministry are:

  1. To bring up grassroots women in every aspect of their life.
  2. To nurture spiritual maturity as they grow in their relationship with God.
  3. To disciple women to know Christ more intimately through Bible study and practical application.
  4. To encourage women to discover, develop and utilize their spiritual gifts in service for the Lord.
  5. To equip women to reach out to others and build meaningful relationships.
  6. To participate in community outreach and mission projects.
